2003 was the first time that the title of Miss Germany went to a foreign-born girl. The local press wrote about her, "Alores was chosen, not only for her green eyes and her long legs, but also for her active political stance." In 2007 she competed again for the title of Top Model Germany with a lot of experience she gained during her year as Miss Germany and various modelling jobs. The final in Berlin and her victory over 13 other and stunning contestants forwarded her the ticket to enter the Top Model of the World Finale held in Egypt

Alessandra was born in the Ukraine. Russian and Ukrainian are her native languages, though she speaks German, Italian and English as well. Her mother is from the Ukraine, where she grew up. Her father is Italian.

She studied German for two years, without a social life in all that time. In spite of all the adversities that generally plague an immigrant, Alessandra quickly adapted to her new environment and made it her new home. In her spare time, Alessandra likes to get her blood rushing with extreme sports like boxing, bungee jumping and skydiving.

The title of Miss Germany helped her to break into modeling on an international level. Soon after receiving her crown, the number of job offers doubled. Her photos have graced the covers of numerous fashion magazines in France, Italy and Turkey. She now even hosts a cooking show in German television, where she goes head to head with various celebrities. "Here I am, a deplorable cook," she admits, "hosting a cooking show!" But her career is cooking fine.
