Miss Intercontinental 2009

Another year is upon us and this past pageant season reminds us just how diverse our organization truly is. Dominique Hourani, Miss Intercontinental 2003, is now living in Switzerland expecting her first baby and is happily married, and Ligia Petit, Miss Intercontinental 2002 returned to her home country to become one of the most recognized celebrities in Venezuela.

Soon now the WBO will announce the 38th anniversary and the 2009 host country.

70 delegates are going to take part in the 2009 final and the winners will receive prize awards of over 35.000 USD. We are glad to tell that each year our competition hosts beautiful, intelligent women from all walks of life with different ethnic, financial, education and cultural backrounds as they compete for the chance to spend an incredible year representing the Miss Intercontinental Title all over the world. COLOMBIA WINS 37TH MISS INTERCONTINENTAL FINAL

The 23 year old Cristina Carmago from Colombia won the 2008 MISS INTERCONTINENTAL Final. First runner up was the delegate from Poland, Milena Lutrzykowska, second runner up went to the delegate Belarus, Liueou Yakovina.

During the Live Telecast, group's such as BONEY M, Smokey and Danzel have been presenting their Songs.

The show was broadcasted in many countries worldwide.

Cristina will be offered an extensive travel opportunity as well a Management Contract with WBO.
