Jessica Hartman from Denver (Colorado) USA is the new Miss Intercontinental 2011.

 

After 17 years the Miss Intercontinental crown goes again to a contestant from the USA! After Kimberly Byers from Los Angeles / USA the crown went once more to the Unites States of America. 

On Friday 7th October 2011 Live from the Teatro Circo Orihuela (Alicante) the 20 year old Jessica Hartman was crowned the new Miss Intercontinental.

She received the crown "Holly Water" from last years winner Maydelise Columna (Puerto Rico) who had a tremendous year in Germany and is now facing a new chapter in returning to her University to finish her studies.

In a colorful show with spanish No 1 Singer, born in Venezuela Carlos Baunte, as well as Flamenco Artist Rafael Armago and others, the 59 contestants performed on Stage in National Dresses, Swimsuits in the Iberian Colors and in Evening Gowns.

 

Broadcasted by the Mediapro Group from Madrid, the show was aired in numerous countries and also in the national spanish channel Telecinco.

 

For the first time the Top 15 have been elected by the international Jury in groups of 3 winners from each continent. Same procedure was for the Top 5, just one winner, the best elected by the judges from each continent came into the Top 5.
