The 41st anniversary of the Miss Intercontinental pageant was successfully accomplished in the city of Aachen (Germany). A two week exciting journey through various cities within Germany and an overhelming welcome and hospitality of the germans made the pageant become a huge success.
For the second time of the pageant Miss Intercontinental, the WBO decided to honour the Beauty of all continents and so the judges were given the choice to select the Top 3 of each continent: Europe, Africa, North America, South America and Asia and Oceania.
Out of the best three of each continent just the best contestant was then selected to join the Top Five and so we were able to present at the final the 5 continent winners. We continue with the new structure of the title MISS INTERCONTINENTAL. "It will make the big difference from other beauty pageants and will make the Miss Intercontinental unique" says Luis Pitti Sagrera, President of the WBO.
Out of the Top 15 only the best of each continent is entering the Top Five. It will give us a great opportunity to work with the continent winners throughout the year as well.
Now, we do focus and start preparing for the 2013 Miss Intercontinental and are glad to have already received various offers to stage the Show in another new exciting country.
